Richard Prince, born in 1949, is a famous painter and photographer. He is well known for many series of images he has done plus his signature technique of “rephotographing”. One of his more well known series is called “Jokes”, started in 1986, which are images making fun of the sexual fantasies or frustrations of middle-class America. the Jokes series is still going on to this day. He is currently living in New York City.
